TMZ, citing police documents, said Atlas, 27, was spending the night drinking at a Florida bar when he became involved in a “verbal argument” before becoming “physically aggressive.”

Atlas – real name Kenny Marquez – is said to have been drunk when he called his long-term partner to pick him up.

The report said Atlas convinced his partner to stay at the bar and join him and his friends for drinks.

It is claimed the wrestler wanted to “move into another friend’s house to be intimate,” according to police documents.

It is alleged that Atlas became “physically aggressive” and even attacked his partner after paying “half more attention” to the other person than to him.

According to the report, the wrestler left his partner with a cut arm and a torn shirt.

A witness intervened, telling Atlas to go home and “sleep in.”

Atlas is said to have followed his partner, with the witness again intervening and shoving him into a nearby car, according to the police report.

Police were called after he allegedly refused to leave the apartment he shares with his partner upon his return.

It is alleged that Atlas refused to give his version of events to the police officers, but only “spoke badly about his partner”, according to authorities.

Atlas is said to have been arrested, charged with household batteries and released shortly thereafter on the condition that he could not contact his partner or come within 500 feet.

He has yet to comment publicly on his arrest and is scheduled to appear in court on June 28.

Atlas signed with WWE in 2019 before joining AEW in January 2022.

However, he has been out since his debut show with a cruciate ligament tear in his knee.
