NFL Draft live stream: How to watch the 2022 draft free without cable | Sporting News

For the first time, Las Vegas will be the site of the NFL Draft. The bright lights of the city will make for a unique backdrop as the next crop of young talent enters the league.

As has been the case in recent years, there is a bevy of options for NFL fans to watch the draft, including cable subscriptions, apps and streaming platforms. The 2022 NFL Draft — 262 selections and seven rounds — will begin Thursday, April 28, at 8 p.m. ET and run through Saturday, April 30.

The event will be carried by ABC, ESPN and NFL Network. That means viewers will have multiple streaming options for the draft as well, including through ESPN and the NFL's digital platforms. ABC, ESPN and NFL Network will each cover the event through the first two days, with ABC simulcasting ESPN's coverage on Day 3.

Mike Greenberg will be ESPN's host for the second consecutive year. The broadcast will feature draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. — appearing virtually after opting to not receive the COVID-19 vaccine — as well as NFL analysts Louis Riddick and Booger McFarland. Chris Mortensen will be the primary reporter and insider, while Suzy Kolber will conduct interviews. Adam Schefter will not take part in this year's coverage; he will be attending his son's college graduation.

The NFL Network broadcast team will be Rich Eisen, Daniel Jeremiah and Charles Davis on the main set, with guest hosts appearing on different days.

The ABC team will be more college football-centric. Rece Davis will anchor Thursday and Friday's main draft coverage, while Sam Ponder and Jesse Palmer will host from ABC's secondary desk. Todd McShay, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard will offer insight from the main desk, while Robert Griffin III will join Ponder and Palmer. Pete Thamel will serve as a reporter.
