Man United vs. Chelsea time, TV channel, stream, betting odds for Premier League clash

It's last-chance saloon on Thursday night for Manchester United's faltering hopes of finishing in the top four in the Premier League and qualifying for the UEFA Champions League in 2022/23.

Saturday's sorry 3-1 reversal at Arsenal has left Ralf Rangnick's side six points behind the fourth-placed London club with only four matches remaining and the Gunners with a game in hand.

United need maximum points from their remaining quartet of games, starting with the visit of Chelsea, and for Arsenal and Tottenham, in fifth, to both drop points if they are to have any chance of getting a top-four place.

Chelsea are not certain of a top-four spot themselves and need nine points from their remaining six games to be sure of their place in the Champions League next season.

Manchester United vs Chelsea predicted line-ups

Fred has returned to training for United but the Brazilian is unlikely to feature against Chelsea as he recovers from a flexor muscle issue that has sidelined him for the past three weeks.

With Paul Pogba, Edison Cavani and Luke Shaw all ruled out for the rest of the season there is likely to be little change from the side that lost to Arsenal, although Harry Maguire may get a recall after being dropped as his defensive colleagues still struggled without him.

Manchester United predicted line-up (4-3-3): De Gea (GK) — Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles — McTominay, Matic, Fernandes — Elanga, Ronaldo, Sancho

Thomas Tuchel made a number of changes on Sunday for the 1-0 win over West Ham as he seeks to keep his players fresh ahead of the FA Cup final on May 14 against Liverpool.

Romelu Lukaku may get another chance upfront after coming on as a substitute against West Ham, while Reece James, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rüdiger could all return in defence after injuries.

Chelsea predicted line-up (3-4-3): Mendy (GK) — Christensen, Rüdiger, Azpilicueta — James, Kanté, Jorginho, Alonso — Mount, Lukaku, Werner

Manchester United vs Chelsea betting odds

United have conceded seven goals in their past two league games and have not kept a clean sheet since February 26.

So Chelsea, who have won their past 10 games away from Stamford Bridge in all competitions, including the FIFA Club World Cup, will fancy their chances of making it 11 in a row on Thursday.
