Ohio State upsets No. 1 Duke with second-half rally in Big Ten/ACC Challenge

Zed Key scored a game-high 20 points to lead Ohio State to the upset of No. 1 Duke.
Zed Key scored a game-high 20 points to lead Ohio State to the upset of No. 1 Duke.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Duke's time as the No. 1 team in college basketball will be short-lived.

Playing in their first true road game of the season, the Blue Devils hit only seven field goals in the second half en route to a 71-66 loss to unranked Ohio State, blowing a 13-point halftime lead and a previously unbeaten season in the process.

It was the ninth time in school history that the Buckeyes have beaten the No. 1 team in the country while being unranked. It's the first time in 10 years that Duke has held a 10-point or more lead at halftime and lost.

Duke rose from No. 6 to No. 1 in the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll this week after beating Gonzaga — the previous No. 1 team — Friday night in Las Vegas. Now the Blue Devils (7-1) head into a two-week break coming off a stunning loss.

Behind 20 points from big man Zed Key and 14 points and 14 rebounds from forward E.J. Lidell, the Buckeyes (5-3) erased a 43-30 halftime lead and ended the game on a 14-1 run in the final 4:51.

"I thought we got worn out. They’re physical and they were fresh," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said. "It’s the most we’ve fouled and that’s uncharacteristic for us — and we were not able to finish. Our kids tried like crazy, but they were worn out."

All of Duke's starters with the exception of Trevor Keels had four fouls in the loss. Reserve center Theo John fouled out late in the game, leaving the Blue Devils short of an inside presence.

Duke only scored 23 points in the second half, hitting 7-of-31 shots while Ohio State found its rhythm from beyond the arc. The Buckeyes hit 5-of-10 from 3-point range in the second half, including a long jumper from Cedric Russell that cut Duke's lead to two with 1:46 left in the game.

Ohio State struggled to make free throws — finishing 11-of-22 — but made its last five to steal the win on its home court. Duke's final point came with 4:29 left on a Keels free throw to extend the lead to 66-59.

Wendell Moore led the Blue Devils with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Paolo Banchero, who struggled with foul trouble and had three fouls in the first half, finished with 14 points but hit only 4-of-14 shots.

Duke led 43-30 at the half, using an 18-4 run to turn a 13-7 deficit into a 25-17 lead. Banchero and Moore paced the Blue Devils with 10 points apiece despite Banchero picking up his third foul with 3:05 left in the half.

Moore had six rebounds and four assists as Duke outscored Ohio State 28-12 in the paint.

Ohio State struggled with ball control and free throws in the first half, giving up nine turnovers that led to 13 points for Duke and hitting only 3-of-10 from the charity stripe.

How to watch Suns vs. Warriors: Live stream, TV channel, start time for Tuesday's NBA game ...

Through 3 Quarters

The experts predicted a win for the Phoenix Suns, but it's no sure thing at this point. Either team is in a position to win, but they lead against the Golden State Warriors 80-78.

Phoenix has been relying on center Deandre Ayton, who has 16 points along with seven boards and two blocks, and point guard Chris Paul, who has nine points and eight assists in addition to four steals and four rebounds. Shooting guard Jordan Poole has led the way so far for Golden State, as he has shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc and has recorded 26 points and five rebounds.

The Warriors have been used to carrying a lead into the fourth quarter lately, so we'll see how they respond to the deficit.

Who's Playing

Golden State @ Phoenix

Current Records: Golden State 18-2; Phoenix 17-3

What to Know

The Phoenix Suns are 5-18 against the Golden State Warriors since November of 2015, but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Phoenix will take on Golden State at 10 p.m. ET at Footprint Center after having had a few days off. The Suns are out to stop a 12-game streak of losses at home.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Phoenix beat the Brooklyn Nets 113-107 this past Saturday. Phoenix's shooting guard Devin Booker did his thing and had 30 points. Booker's night made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 30 points.

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the contest between Golden State and the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday was still a pretty decisive one as the Warriors wrapped it up with a 105-90 victory on the road. It was another big night for Golden State's point guard Stephen Curry, who shot 7-for-13 from beyond the arc and finished with 33 points, six dimes and six steals.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Suns are expected to win a tight contest. They are currently two-for-two against the spread in their most recent games, a trend bettors might want to take into account.

Phoenix is now 17-3 while Golden State sits at 18-2. A couple stats to keep an eye on: Phoenix ranks first in the league when it comes to field goal percentage, with 48.10% on the season. But Golden State have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 41.90%, which places them first in the league. We'll see which of these strengths -- offense or defense -- will win out.

Manchester United vs Arsenal: How to watch, stream, start time, prediction

Manchester United looks to win just its second Premier League match in nine tries when it hosts Arsenal on Thursday at Old Trafford (start time 3:15pm ET Thursday online via Peacock Premium).

United has only beaten Tottenham in PL play since a Sept. 19 win at West Ham United but is coming off a 1-1 draw at Chelsea at the weekend.

Arsenal, meanwhile, righted its ship by beating Newcastle after getting hammered by Liverpool. Aside from their 4-0 loss to the Reds, the Gunners have blanked their most recent four opponents across all competitions.

United’s 18 points are five fewer than Arsenal, who sits fifth at the start of the match week.

Premier League news

Manchester United team news, injuries, lineup options

Raphael Varane (thigh) and Paul Pogba (thigh) are still not ready to return, while Harry Maguire is suspended, Edinson Cavani has a slim chance of playing, and Luke Shaw’s status is unclear but it seems likely he won’t be ready to go at Old Trafford.

Arsenal team news, injuries, lineup options

Sead Kolasinac (ankle) and Granit Xhaka (knee) will miss the game while Bukayo Saka has an outside shot of playing with a nebulous knock.

Odds and ends (full odds provided by our partner, PointsBet)

Manchester United is favored to win with a -106 number, while a draw sends forth +260 to the wagerer. An Arsenal win collects +260.

Mikel Arteta has to prepare for whatever Ralf Rangnick is ready to throw his way, and that factor of relative unpredictability plus United’s clever attackers might make it hard for Arsenal to deliver another clean sheet. But United’s defense without Varane and Maguire is a problem. Manchester United 1-1 Arsenal.

Bob Stoops steals the show at Oklahoma’s press conference

Bob Stoops started with a joke.

“Boy, it’s been…this looks familiar. It’s been a while. How come I’m the only one that hasn’t aged? But, anyway, really is good to see you again,” Stoops said.

Seeing Stoops positioned with a microphone in front of him and the interlocking OU logo behind him, it did feel a little bit like deja vu. And it was Stoops’ calming influence and voice that stole the show.

Of course, everyone in attendance understood that Stoops was back at Oklahoma as the interim head coach for OU’s bowl game for all the wrong reasons. Suddenly, here was Stoops, left to help clean up the mess that his hand-picked successor Lincoln Riley left behind after he bolted Sunday for USC.

Stoops’ message was clear. The program is about more than just one man. It’s always been bigger than that.

“There’s not one guy, one person in the history of this program that’s bigger than the program. Coach Switzer, myself or Lincoln Riley. And what I told the players is they are the program. Players throughout these decades, they are OU football. Not us as a coach. I’m getting in the Hall of Fame because of them. The players, the coaches around them, all of that, but those players are the ones who are OU football and they’ll stick together. They stick together. They’ll continue to be OU football, championship football, the way we’re used to playing it,” Stoops said.

He was quick to point out that it’s also in much better shape than when OU athletic director Joe Castiglione convinced Stoops to come and resurrect the program all those many years ago.

“Listen, talking to our fan base out there, I’m talking to our recruits out there, I’m talking to our players’ parents out there. I’ve had multiple meetings already with players. Going out recruiting tonight. The message to all of you is listen, when I arrived here in December 1, 1998, there was something to be concerned about. A lot to be concerned about. Four straight years without a winning record. No bowl games. Two years later, we were 13-0 and won the national championship. This place is in a hell of a lot better shape than it was in December 1, 1998,” Stoops said.

Stoops cited Oklahoma’s perennial status as a contender, its facilities and its university leadership as reasons why OU will find the right next head coach.

“This job is going to attract the very best in the coaching world and they’re already lined up and calling. Calling Joe, hitting people the way they do. This is a real job. This is a great job. A great university with great leadership. All of you fans, and again player parents, everyone. Just understand, give it a little bit of time and you’re going to see this is just a little bump in the road,” Stoops said.

As Stoops mentioned, he and the rest of the remnants of Oklahoma’s staff would be out recruiting with Early Signing Day approaching swiftly on Dec. 15. What pitch would he have to sell to recruits?

“Well, it’s an easy sell. You sell the university. You sell the leadership here that’s in front of you. You sell the history of success. Not just in the last 23 years. Decades of success. It’s going to continue to happen. We’ve got great leadership, great facilities, a great university to recruit to academically. All of it together, it’s still here. This job, with all of the pluses of it, is going to attract a top, great coach. And Joe will find the right, great coach. They’re out there and this is an attractive job. Give it time and I think everybody will be pleased with it,” Stoops said.

In the meantime, Stoops is excited to coach the few players that committed to him while he was still the head coach for the first time.

“Some of them have committed to me, so, yeah. That’s what a few of them have said. The guy that I’ve committed to, I get to go win a game with, so hopefully it will work out that way. I’m looking forward to it. Very much so,” Stoops said.

One of the reasons he felt the calling to come back in the interim was because several of the assistant coaches remaining were guys that he recruited and that played for him like Calvin Thibodeaux and DeMarco Murray.

“Well, absolutely, because of my love for the program first, but I also do personally care about all of those guys. I care about the players. I want to hopefully for them to be able to finish out here in the very best way they can. It’s already a great year at 10-2. Hopefully it’ll be 11-2. And then, yeah, personally those assistant coaches I’ve stayed close with. Recruited all of them. They all played for me. They all care so much about this university. It was nothing to think about for me. I mean, I knew…I said, if I can help with what’s best for the program, then I’m in and I’ll do the best I can. Those guys, they’re all loyal and care about the university in a big way,” Stoops said.

Stoops didn’t want to engage in the conversations he and Riley have had over the past few days.

“I’m not much on talking about my feelings or thoughts publicly about any of that. You know, disappointed? Sure. The rest of it, that will be between Lincoln and I personally as it should be. I’m not much on making that kind of stuff public. My initial reaction is what’s best for the program immediately recruiting and the players. Should say first and foremost the players on our team right now. Reassuring them that they are OU football. Sticking together, they can very well be a championship program next year and that we will attract the very best in the coaching profession and the same thing is projected out recruiting,” Stoops said.

Though he didn’t say it publicly, it would be understandable if Stoops felt at least some form of betrayal by Riley’s departure. After all, it was Stoops that brought him to Oklahoma and set him up for the success he’s enjoyed thus far.

Still, the focus was on the players that are still here at Oklahoma.

“Well, they were of course blindsided and so they were in shock yesterday. Definitely. I was in the meeting. They were very respectful of coach Riley as he addressed them. Some even clapped for him as he left, but in shock. But then after Joe addressed them and I had an opportunity to address them, again to understand they are OU football. This one guy didn’t all of a sudden create OU football,” Stoops said.

Stoops said one of the first things he mentioned while addressing the team was his decision to step down five years ago.

“I referenced when I stepped away five years ago that a lot of them weren’t in there, some were, but that, when I had stepped away, it was like we were at a funeral. I was like guys this is my choice. It’s okay. You guys are what win. I haven’t made a play in how long. It’s okay. And they all started laughing and gave me a standing ovation. And I said the same thing, it’s Lincoln’s choice to leave. It’s okay. You’re the ones that are going to make all the plays or not make the plays. You guys win and lose. You’re OU football. He isn’t. I’m not. Any other coach that comes here isn’t. OU football’s been here a long time and it isn’t going anywhere else. It’s going to be here and it’s going to be at the top of college football and it’s going to continue that way,” Stoops said.

Stoops said he would be happy to offer any kind of voice Castiglione might need in his coaching search but he also made it clear that it’s Castiglione’s decision alone.

“Joe’s the picker. I’m not. Joe’s the boss. Joe’s the picker. He and Mr. Joe Harroz. The two of them and I’m sure our board. I’m not getting into friends. That doesn’t matter. I’ve got a lot of friends. A lot of friends I’d never hire, so that doesn’t have anything to do with it. It’s who fits here the best, who brings the most and fits the best and as Joe said wants it the most. This is a great job and he’s going to have his share of candidates. If he wants to run some by me, you know, obviously I’ve got feelings or, you know, I know maybe some things that other people don’t know about guys that you might stay away from this guy or this guy I think you can’t go wrong with. So, I might have some basic comments like that that I can contribute with, but Joe will be the one like always that’s deciding,” Stoops said.

Stoops didn’t have to do this. He chose to step in as the interim head coach because of his love for the University of Oklahoma. His legend was already cemented in Norman, but Stoops made sure there’s at least one final chapter to add to it.

“And I look forward to, you know, doing everything that I can here in these next few weeks to help it continue to succeed the way that it has,” Stoops said.

Demsey McKean reflects on US debut, discusses Kambosos Jr victory

There appears to be a shift in the global boxing scene over the last couple of weeks, with Demsey McKean successfully debuting in the United States, Liam Paro readied to compete on the undercard of Fury vs Paul on Showtime, and of course George Kambosos Jr’s historic victory over Teofimo Lopez this past weekend.

McKean showed off his skills on the undercard of Demetrius Andrade’s demolition of Jason Quigley live on DAZN, and the hard-hitting Australian reflected on his first professional bout stateside.

McKean said, “I was delighted to finally get out stateside on the undercard of a world title fight. This is what my team have been working towards for a long time now, so I’m grateful to the ACE Boxing Group and Matchroom Boxing for making it happen.

“I was happy with my performance. It was good to get the rounds in and of course get the stoppage. I wanted to show off my skills and show that I have the ability to break people down and stop them. I’m not just a one-punch knockout artist, I can box with the best of them.

“I’ve been in some great camps, such as Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, so I know I can mix it with the best. In 2022 with the backing of Matchroom, ACE Boxing, and DAZN, I believe I’m going to be in the fights that show everybody I have the ability to become world champion.”

Another Aussie shaking up the world is George Kambosos Jr, who upset Teofimo Lopez to claim WBA, WBO, IBF, and WBC titles this past weekend in New York City. McKean, who was ringside for the fight, gave his take on the possibilities for Australian boxing in 2022.

The hard-hitting heavyweight stated, “I’m excited for 2022 for myself obviously, but for Australian boxing as a whole. You have the likes of Liam Paro fighting on Showtime, I hope to be back on DAZN, and George Kambosos Jr just shook up the world against Teofimo Lopez in New York.

“I’m delighted for George and his team and it’s more motivation for me to work towards becoming world champion. It would be nice to see big time boxing on DAZN in Australia, but I’m happy to fight anywhere as I’ve shown already. I believe this could be a golden era for Australian boxing.”

This game is crucial for both sides, and whoever can come away with a win will feel a lot more confident about staying in England’s top flight this campaign.

Here is everything you need to know about Newcastle United vs Norwich City:

Norwich are still without Sam Byram and Christoph Zimmermann. Mathias Normann has picked up a groin injury and will also miss the game.

Norwich City Predicted XI: Krul; Aarons, Hanley, Gibson, Williams; McLean, Rupp, Gilmour; Cantwell, Pukki, Rashica

No doubt this is a relegation six pointer. Norwich are three points away from safety, while Newcastle are six.

Edge talks about CM Punk's reference about Miz on WWE RAW - The Indian Express

WWE RAW Results: Edge made his return to WWE television for the first time since being drafted to Raw on Tuesday. It was supposed to be a Rated-R return to the red brand for WWE Hall of Famer Edge, but The Miz was quick to interrupt the occasion.

The A-Lister, flanked by his wife, Maryse, proceeded to demand respect from the WWE Universe fresh off his run on Dancing with the Stars and disparaged WWE for not marketing his return in the same manner as Edge’s.

The Rated-R Superstar hurled some cutting responses The Miz’s way, ultimately challenging The Most Must-See Superstar in WWE history to pick a fight in the squared circle, but Miz did not oblige. Certainly, The Miz and Edge promo battle was the highlight of the show tonight.

“6 months ago I was WWE Champion. When’s the last you held a major title, Edge? Oh, that’s right, you were the opening match when I was main eventing against John Cena at WrestleMania,” said Miz to which Edge responded saying, “You’ve got people on other shows saying your name to get a cheap reaction — you live rent free in a lot of heads.” This comes on the backdrop of Punk referencing MJF being a “less famous Miz”

However, the segment also received criticism on social media with netizens deeming it as an obvious attempt by WWE to take a dig at AEW. “I’ve seen people unironically saying Edge and Miz were “copying” MJF and Punk with their promo tonight as if the act of cutting a good promo didn’t exist before it was done last Wednesday. The paranoia and derangement of wrestling Twitter can be scary,” explained Mike Chiari of the Bleacher Report.

Kevin Owens def. WWE Champion Big E via disqualification

WWE Champion Big E was eager to get his hands on Kevin Owens in this Raw main event, and the two heavy-hitters slugged it out with Seth Rollins taking it all in from the announce table. After Owens launched a furious attack on The Visionary, an irate Rollins decided to make his presence felt in a more emphatic way by attacking KO and following it up with a Stomp to the WWE Champion.

Because he connected on KO first, Rollins’ plan to prevent Owens from earning a spot in the WWE Day 1 title match backfired, as Owens was declared the winner of the bout as a result of a disqualification and thus inserted into that WWE Championship showdown.

WWE RAW Results: November 30, 2021

Maryse returns to WWE, Edge mentions CM Punk's Miz reference from AEW Dynamite ...

Edge made his long-awaited return to WWE Monday Night Raw this week in his first appearance since Crown Jewel where he defeated Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell match.

Edge talked about the people on the Raw roster including Damina Priest, Big E, AJ Styles, and Finn Balor as potential opponents but there was one name he did not mention. The Miz and wife Maryse walked out to the ring.

Miz took issue with WWE giving so much attention to Edge’s return even though he’s only been away for a month but Miz doesn’t get the pyro and the fanfare. Miz then declared that his wife is officially back in WWE. Miz ripped on Edge for being the opening match when Miz was main eventing against John Cena and Miz said he surpassed Edge a long time ago and Edge should have stayed home for good.

Edge said Miz lives rent free in people’s heads and people on other shows mention his name just to get a cheap reaction. That was a reference to CM Punk calling MJF a less famous version of The Miz last week on AEW Dynamite. Edge offered to fight Miz but Miz backed off so it looks like it will be Miz vs. Edge at the next pay-per-view.

Edge References AEW Dynamite Segment On RAW, New Feud Revealed - Wrestling Inc.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge referenced a recent much-talked-about AEW Dynamite segment during tonight’s WWE RAW episode.

Tonight’s RAW from Long Island saw The Rated R Superstar make his return to WWE TV, his first appearance since being sent to the red brand in the WWE Draft this past October, and his first appearance since defeating Seth Rollins in a Hell In a Cell match at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21.

Edge came to the ring and mentioned how he now has a fresh group of opponents to sink his teeth in, name-dropping AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, WWE United States Champion Damian Priest, and WWE Champion Big E. Edge was quickly interrupted by The Miz and his wife Maryse. This was The Miz’s first appearance since leaving for ABC’s Dancing With The Stars back in September, during the beginning of the feud against John Morrison, who was released back on November 18. This was Maryse’s first appearance since mid-April.

The back & forth promo segment between The A-Lister and The Rated R Superstar included a reference to last week’s Thanksgiving Eve edition of AEW Dynamite.

As we’ve noted, last week’s Dynamite opened up with a promo segment between CM Punk and MJF, which included references to several top WWE Superstars. Punk referred to MJF as a “less famous Miz,” while MJF said Punk has gone soft and is “PG Punk,” adding that Punk might as well be in the ring talking about “hustle, loyalty and respect” – a reference to John Cena. MJF later made another Cena mention and a reference to Triple H when he said Punk was always second best, whether it was to “You Can’t See Me man” or the “King of Kings.” Another reference to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was made when Punk asked MJF if he thinks he’s #1 in AEW. Punk said the only way MJF will be #1 is if AEW President Tony Khan has a daughter and MJF marries her.

Edge referred to that AEW Dynamite segment when he remarked to The Miz, “You have people on other shows saying your name just to get a cheap reaction. You live rent-free in a lot of heads.”

This line was delivered as Edge was giving praise and props to The Miz, but the general tone of the promo back & forth was tension between Edge and Miz.

This week’s Miz – Edge segment on RAW ended with the two former WWE Champions teasing a fight before Miz declined and made his exit as fans booed. It’s possible that they will lock up at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view on Saturday, January 1, but that has not been confirmed.

This has not been confirmed, but early social media speculation is that the new Edge vs. Miz feud will also lead to a mixed tag team match with Edge bringing his wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, to RAW to team up against The Miz and Maryse. Phoenix, who currently works as a full-time WWE NXT commentator, retired in the fall of 2012 but came out of retirement in April 2019 for a brief multi-woman WrestleMania 35 storyline. She also worked the 3-Woman Royal Rumble bouts in 2018 and 2020. Her last since match was a win over AJ Lee on the October 29, 2012 RAW. Maryse never officially retired, but has not wrestled since teaming with her husband for a win over Bryan Danielson and WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella at Hell In a Cell 2018. Her last singles match was a draw against Brie on the September 11, 2018 SmackDown.

Stay tuned for more on Edge and The Miz. Below are related photos and videos from this week’s RAW segment, along with the Punk – MJF segment referenced by Edge:

Boxing News: Fight Week » November 30, 2021 - Fightnews.com

Two huge fight cards this weekend, happily not going head-to-head like last Saturday night.

Saturday night in Las Vegas on DAZN, we have WBC lightweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (26-0, 15 KOs) taking on WBC interim titleholder JoJo Diaz (32-1-1, 15 KOs). The fighters have been going at it on social media, so this is shaping up to be a good one.

Sunday night in Los Angeles on Showtime PPV, Gervonta “Tank” Davis (26-0, 25 KOs) defends against Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (22-1-1, 15 KOs).

Haney is a 6:1 favorite, and Davis is a whopping 14:1 favorite, however, both Diaz and Cruz are considered live ‘dogs so these should be good fights. Undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos is expected to be on hand at both fights.

The main Haney-Diaz support bouts are undisputed female welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill (10-2, 3 KOs) against late sub Kandi Wyatt (10-3, 3 KOs). Original foe Victoria Bustos had visa issues. Also in action is heavyweight Filip Hrgović (13-0 11 KOs) against Scott Alexander (16-4-2, 8 KOs).

The Davis-Cruz PPV is going for $74.99. Undercard fights include 6’6 super welterweight Sebastian Fundora (17-0-1, 12 KOs) against Sergio Garcia (33-0, 14 KOs) in a WBC title eliminator, middleweight Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-3, 10 KOs) against Carlos Adames (20-1, 16 KOs), and featherweight Eduardo Ramirez (25-2-3, 12 KOs) against Miguel Marriaga (30-4, 26 KOs).

Another notable fight that will air on BT Sport in the UK Saturday is the rematch between top light heavyweights Lyndon Arthur (19-0, 13 KOs) and Anthony Yarde (21-2, 20 KOs) in London.

Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk has requested a trade, his agent says originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

Jake DeBrusk's career with the Boston Bruins appears to be drawing to a close.

His agent, Rick Valette, confirmed to TSN reporter Ryan Rishaug that DeBrusk has asked for a trade.

This development is not surprising at all.

DeBrusk has struggled mightily this season and was a healthy scratch for Sunday night's 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

One of the biggest issues with DeBrusk is his inconsistent offensive production. He has scored only one goal in his last 13 games. Going long stretches without scoring goals has become a trend for DeBrusk in recent seasons.

NHL suspends Brad Marchand three games for slew-footing Oliver Ekman-Larsson

He averaged 20.6 goals over his first three seasons in Boston, but he's found the back of the net only eight times in 58 games since the start of the 2019-20 campaign.

A fresh start for both sides is needed.

DeBrusk was one of three consecutive first-round picks (13, 14 and 15) the B's made in the 2015 NHL Draft. The other two were defenseman Jakub Zboril and Zach Senyshyn. None of these three players have come anywhere close to meeting expectations.
