Ethan Page's AEW Debut Was Up In The Air Due To Visa Process

Ethan Page made his debut at AEW Revolution and he got a great pop from the Daily’s Place crowd in the process. All of that was up in the air prior to his debut because you never know if anything will become a reality in pro wrestling until it actually happens. All Ego also had some visa issues to take care of.

Page’s deal with Impact Wrestling ran out and many fans were expecting to see him in AEW, but there were other possibilities. Page kept a low profile on social media, even taking a hiatus after Karate Man literally ripped his heart out of his chest at Hard To Kill.

He sat down with AEW Unrestricted where his debut for the company came up. It turns out that he didn’t know about his Revolution debut until about a week before the event. Ethan Page is Canadian and that means he had to deal with the always tricky issue of getting a visa in line before he could join All Elite Wrestling.

“Probably a week or less before the match. I was given the date and start time, but it was up in the air because of the whole visa process. So before it was actually confirmed, which is literally probably about a week before, it was just a hope and a dream, which is a lot in pro wrestling, until it happens, it might not happen.”

Ethan Page re-started his old rivalry with Darby Allin. The two still have a lot of unfinished business and they will have a face-to-face at Road Rager. A coffin match is also probably going to happen sooner than later as well. That contest was booked for Road Rager in Miami, but then Page postponed the match in a furious rage after Allin jumped him.

Page is just getting started with All Elite Wrestling and he will keep making those trips from Canada to make Dynamite tapings in whatever city Tony Khan’s company is visiting that week. Thankfully, he got those visa issues sorted out just in time.
