Barbora Krejcikova faces Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the 2021 French Open women’s singles final on Saturday, June 12 (6/12/2021) at 9:00 a.m. ET.

Krejcikova, of the Czech Republic, defeated Greece’s Maria Sakkari in a 7-5, 4-6, 9-7 match on Thursday. Russia’s Pavlyuchenkova beat Tamara Zidansek, of Slovenia, 7-5, 6-3 to advance to the final.

No matter who wins, a first-time Grand Slam Tennis Champion will be crowned on the women’s side. For Pavlyuchenkova, it’s her first time reaching a Grand Slam final in 52 major appearances. The younger Krejcikova is a slight favorite to win, however, according to Sportsline.
