Natalya Recounts Her First Meeting With A Young Indi Hartwell

WWE Superstar Natalya has recounted the moment she first met her now-colleague Indi Hartwell when the latter was a young fan.

Natalya took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a DM she received from Indi Hartwell back in 2013 while WWE was on tour in Australia, as well photos of herself and Hartwell in 2013 and today.

On 2013 [Indi Hartwell] messaged me on Twitter while I was on tour with [WWE] in Australia. She wanted to meet me," Natalya captioned the collection of images.

"Fast forward to 2021 and [Indi Hartwell] and I are both tag team champions in [WWE] living our dreams. And now we’re friends," the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion continued.

Indi Hartwell is currently one half of the NXT Women's Champions along with Candice LeRae, while Natalya shares her WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with fellow multi-generational WWE Superstar Tamina -- the daughter of "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka.

Hartwell and LeRae are the third set of champions since the titles were introduce earlier this year. They beat Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon for the gold earlier this month.

Recently, Hartwell took to Twitter to express her gratitude to her tag team partner.

"The wrestling world is a better place with [Candice LeRae] in it," Hartwell tweeted on Thursday. "She is so damn selfless. The amount of knowledge this woman has is mind blowing - she teaches me things even when she doesn’t realise. I’m so grateful to be by her side."

As a team, Hartwell and LeRae have shared some big moments. On the January 2nd edition of 205 Live, LeRae and Hartwell defeated newcomers Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade in the quarterfinals of the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, which was the first time that a women's match had ever taken place on that brand.
