Show Opening

We enter the Skyway Studios arena in Nashville, Tennessee for the new timeslot of THURSDAY, April 8th, 2021 edition of IMPACT Wrestling that continues to bring the action! We start tonight off with an official "welcome" from the IMPACT commentary team of D-Lo Brown and Matt Striker as they sit at the announcer's table! We are informed that Jazz (w/Jordynne Grace) defeated Susan (w/the Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo) on "Before The Impact". We head to the ring for the first match up! We see Don Callis, The Good Brothers and the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega arrive on set. Omega and The Good Brothers will take center stage in the main event tonight! We kick things off with a six-Knockout tag team match!

Jordynne Grace, Havok & Rosemary vs. Tenille Dashwood (w/Kaleb), Nevaeh & Alisha

As we enter the ring inside the Skyway Studios Arena in Nashville, Tennessee for tonight's first match-up, we wrap up the ring entrances as the referee steps to the center of the ring and signals for the bell. The bell rings and our first match of the evening is officially underway! We start off the action with Jordynne Grace and Alisha meeting in the center of the ring for an early Lock Up. Next Jordynne powers Alisha into the corner of the ring with a heavy shove. Alisha immediately finds her way out of the corner and counters as she wraps herself around Jordynne and lands a quick roll up to deliver the first early pin attempt. Jordynne struggles and manages to kick out at the two to continue the match. Back to her feet, Jordynne counters with an immediate Powerslam and looks for a cover of her own. Next Jordynne heads to her team's corner and makes the tag to Rosemary. Rosemary and Alisha go back and forth at this point, Alisha sends Rosemary to the mat, then Rosemary landing a few shots before Alisha heads over to her corner to tag in Tenille Dashwood.

Tenille quickly makes an exit as she rolls out of the ring and hauls tail around the ring and unintentionally ends up right in front of Decay. Havok quickly grabs Tenille and proceeds to slam her face-first into the steel steps. Tenille somehow finds herself laying on top of a table at ringside, perhaps to catch her breath when suddenly Jordynne Grace dives through the ropes, crashing into Kaleb. At this point we return to the ring and Tenille immediately sends Jordynne flying to the canvas as she lands a Swinging Neckbreaker. Next she goes for a cover and delivers a two count. Tenille quickly makes her way to her corner where she gets a tag out to Nevaeh.

Nevaeh immediately heads in the ring and delivers a set of blows to Jordynne and turns around and glares at Havok who’s standing across on the other side. Jordynne finds a way to escape the corner and makes a tag on Rosemary. Nevaeh tags out Alisha. Rosemary storms in with a massive spear! Next, the Demon Assassin locks in her Upside Down. Alisha fights back with some strong forearm strikes, followed by a slam. Rosemary catches Alisha with her As Above, So Below finisher. Rosemary goes in for the cover. We see Nevaeh jump in and break it up. Nevaeh runs at Havok where they proceed to trade strikes back and forth. Both Havok and Nevaeh crash through the table with a Russian Leg Sweep Back inside the ring we see back and forth with Rosemary and Alisha. Rosemary finally lands Red Wedding on Alisha to finish the match for the three count pin and win!

Winners: Rosemary, Jordynne Grace & Havok

Ringside Commentary

We head to ringside where commentary team D’Lo Brown and Matt Striker deliver a quick rundown of the matches still to come Next they note that Hardcore Justice on Saturday as they hype the event. Finally we are informed that the Knockouts Scramble to determine a No. 1 Contender for the Knockouts Championship at Rebellion and a Title versus Career match is set.

Backstage - Matt Cardona

Next we head backstage where we get Gia Miller talking with Matt Cardona. Cardona states that he just found out Brian Myers rejected his match proposal last week. Cardona then states that he’s fine with it. He didn’t come to Impact just to fight Myers. As a matter of fact, he just so happens to have a match with Jake Something tonight.

Video - New Knockout Debut or Return

We see another teaser for the new Knockout that will soon be debuting or returning to the Impact Zone. This week, the full catchphrase is shown: “Let’s Get Wilde.”

Backstage - Susan

We head backstage where the doctor is ready to see Susan and help her with her injuries. When he says he’ll see her now, several flashing colors appear. Could this be hinting towards the return of The Undead Bride, Su Yung?

Jake Something vs. Matt Cardona

We return to the ring for the next match up of the evening as we get the ring entrances for Matt Cardona and Jake Something with both wrestlers entering the ring to their music playing in the speakers of the Skyway Studios arena. Finally both competitors in the ring, the referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the match is officially underway!

To start off the action in the second match up of the evening, Matt Cardona immediately takes control of the match as he takes it to Jake Something to gain control early on in the match. After some back and forth action inside the ring, we see both competitors spill over to ringside as the match continues on. Something runs at Cardona delivering a massive Clothesline that lands Cardona on the floor at ringside. Jake Something brings the match back to the ring where he proceeds to lands strikes on Cardona, following up with several Forearms.

Next we see Something head at Cardona as he delivers a Brainbuster. Cardona manuevers his way into a counter with a Neckbreaker to Something! Cardona quickly follows up by slamming Something’s face into the mat, to keep Something down. Finally Something manages to make his way back to his feet where he proceeds to slam Cardona into the corner of the ring. Cardona fights his way out and delivers a Running Boot for a quick cover of his own! Something manages to kick out at the two to continue the match. Cardona is angered by Something's kick out and so he lands a Hurricanrana to send Something out of the ring to ringside! Suddenly Brian Myers runs out from nowhere and delivers a DDT to Cardona and follows up by slamming Jake into the steel stairs at ringside. The referee signals for the bell.

Winner By Disqualification: Matt Cardona

After the Match

Brian Myers says he had some time to think, and he changed his mind. He accepts Cardona’s challenge at Rebellion.


Next we head backstage where we follow XXXL as he successfully finds Trey Miguel in a hallway. XXL begins to tease Miguel before their tag team match against Sami Callihan, assuming Miguel comes out and joins Callihan’s team tonight.

Backstage - Violent By Design

We head to a different area backstage where Violent By Design state they intend to carry forward following Eric Young's loss to James Storm last week. Young continues on to state that tonight, Deaner will not fail in his match against Chris Sabin. Young states that's good, because if Deaner were to fail, there will be consequences...

XXXL vs. Sami Callihan & Trey Miguel

On that note we return to the ring for the next match up of the evening as we get the ring entrances for both teams as the match is ready to begin, Trey Miguel's music played to tease his entrance before he actually came out. The referee signals for the bell to start the match. The bell rings and the match is officially underway as Trey takes Acey Romero down immediately with a Missile Dropkick. We then get the tags to Larry D and Trey as they both make their way into the ring. Next we get some back and forth action between the two until finally Larry D backs up towards his corner and makes a tag on Romero.

XXXL stand on the outside of the ring as Trey is about to fly to the outside, but instead Sami Callihan tags himself in. Callihan connects a Pele Kick to send us to the commercial break.

We return to the ring as the commercials end and we see that Callihan almost turns Larry D inside out with a Clothesline. Next the tags are made and we get Romero and Trey both inside the ring for some back and forth action. Romero keeps Trey mostly down on the canvas until finally he lands a tag to Larry D. XXXL immediately attempts to break Trey in two. Trey counters back with a Dropkick just as Callihan tags himself again. Trey and Callihan start to argue back and forth. Callihan picks Trey up and throws him towards Larry D. Trey then positions himself to throw Larry D over with a Hurricanrana! Next, Callihan and Trey fly out of the ring on opposing sides with Stereo Dives one right after the other. Trey locks Larry D up with his hourglass submission. Seconds later, Larry D taps out. Trey gains the victory with the three count pin and win!

Winner: Trey Miguel & Sami Callihan

At Swinger’s Palace

We head over to Swinger's Palace next as James Storm, Chris Harris and Chris Sabin decide to test their luck with betting to prelude Sabin’s match for tonight.

Chris Sabin (w/James Storm) vs. Deaner

At this point we return to the ring for the next match up of the evening. After both competitors make their way to the ring, the referee signals for the bell. The bell rings and the match up is officially underway! To start off the action, both men meet up in the center of the ring to Lock Up. This allows Chris Sabin turns to immediately position himself to deliver a tight Side Headlock. Sabin then transitions into a sliding pin on Deaner. Deaner manages to break free at the two to continue the match up. Next Sabin traps Deaner again with another trap pin – same results. Deaner throws Sabin in the corner and lays down a flurry of shots. Sabin lands face-first into the top turnbuckle after Deaner quickly side steps.

After that Deaner slams Sabin into the turnbuckle! Deaner focuses on Sabin’s injured neck by bending his head with a tight grip. Sabin turns it around with an inverted atomic drop, followed by a suplex. Sabin connects a fisherman’s driver for just a two count! Sabin climbs to the top and flies off with a crossbody. He goes for another pin, and Deaner kicks out. Deaner hangs Sabin up on the top rope and lands a big crossbody before dropping him into the mat. Cover. Sabin kicks out. Deaner pokes Sabin’s eyes and rolls him up with his feet on the ropes. The referee catches it and rejects the count. Sabin hits Cradle Shock for the pin. Sabin gets the three count pin and win!

Winner: Chris Sabin

After The Match

Immediately following the match, Eric Young and Joe Doering ambush Chris Harris at Swinger’s Palace. Young says this is all James Storm’s fault.


Next we head backstage where Ace Austin and Madman Fulton are confronted by TJP and Josh Alexander. Just before defending his X-Division Championship against Josh Alexander and TJP at Rebellion, Hardcore Justice booker, Tommy Dreamer, thinks it would be a great idea to have all three men pick their own partners for a special three-way tag match this Saturday just to blow off some steam.


Dreamer sees Eric Young walking by after brutally attacking Chris Harris. Dreamer says he’s going to get some guys together to take down Violent By Design. Young is looking forward to this hardcore challenge.

Video Package - Jazz's Career

Before her big matchup this Saturday, Jazz takes a look back on her career. The veteran will be putting her career on the line for a shot at Deonna Purrazzo’s Knockouts Championship.

Backstage Interview - Deonna Purrazzo

Once again we head backstage where Gia Miller is with Deonna Purrazzo. Miller asks Purrazzo for her thoughts after seeing Jazz’s video package. Purrazzo is honored to face Jazz this Saturday; however, she believes she’s the woman to put an end to Jazz’s legendary career.


Tommy Dreamer waits for Brian Myers to make his way to the back. When he does, Dreamer informs Myers he’ll be in a Hardcore Blindfold match against Jake Something this Saturday!

Impact World Champion Rich Swann, Willie Mack & Eddie Edwards vs. AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers (w/Don Callis)

We return to the ring for the final match up of the evening. Following the ring entrances, the referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match is officially underway! To start the action, Kenny Omega goes gunning for Rich Swann just after the bell rings. The rest of the guys make their way towards the outside. Swann lands one shot on Omega before The Good Brothers drag Swann out of the ring and hold him down. Omega flies out of the ring and on top of Swann. Next, Eddie Edwards crashes through the ropes with a dive. And Willie Mack takes out Doc Gallows. Swann lands a Splash as we head to commercial break!

We return from the commercial break, Doc Gallows cuts the ring off from Eddie Edwards. Gallows lays down a series of shots before tagging the AEW World Champion in. Omega jumps in with a springboard double axe handle on Edwards. Omega then drives Edwards’ face into the mat and then tosses him towards his corner where Karl Anderson has his boot up, waiting for Edwards to smash right into. Next, Gallows makes his return in the ring. Edwards starts to fight free with a beautiful dropkick on Gallows.

Edwards tags in Willie Mack. Gallows tags in Karl Anderson. Mack charges in with a big powerslam on Anderson. Omega runs in and gets caught with a Samoan Drop from Mack. Mack stacks them up for a double-standing moonsault! Anderson makes a desperate tag to Gallows. Gallows decks Mack in the face with a big forearm just before the break. Gallows sneaks in a cover, and Mack kicks out. To once again head to commercial break!

As we return from the final commercial break, Kenny Omega has Willie Mack worn down in the center of the ring. Karl Anderson comes in briefly to keep Mack off his game before bringing Gallows in. Gallows cuts off the ring for Mack, who desperately needs to make a tag. Both Gallows and Mack exchange heavy hands. Gallows makes a tag to Omega, who comes in and stomps away on Mack. Omega tries to carve Mack’s chest with a powerful knife-edged chop. Mack doesn’t seem phased. Omega applies a tightly gripped side headlock. Mack breaks free by hitting several elbow shots. Omega accidentally drops Mack on top of him. Mack looks for a pin on the AEW Champion. Omega gets out.

Mack makes a tag to Swann. Swann runs in and plants hurricanrana on the other champion. Swann lands a few more offensive moves before tagging in Eddie Edwards. Edwards comes soaring in with a hurricanrana of his own. The Good Brothers sends Mack and Swann out of the ring. Shades of the old Bullet Club reemerge as Omega and The Good Brothers plant Edwards in the center of the ring. Cover on Mack. Mack kicks out! Omega drives Edwards with what he calls a Blue Impact. Swann and Mack come in to break up the count on Edwards! Swann jumps off the top after The Good Brothers and Omega try to smother Edwards again. Now, the two champions collide again! Omega hoists Swann up for the One-Winged Angel. Swann slips out from the back and heads to the top rope. Swann hits his Phoenix Splash! Swann hooks the leg on Omega. 1-2, Don Callis pulls Swann out of the ring!

Swann springs forth with a lethal injection on Anderson. Eddie Edwards smashes Anderson off with a Boston Knee Party. Swann concludes the match with a Phoenix Splash. That will do it! Swann’s team is victorious over Omega and The Good Brothers!

Winners: Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards & Willie Mack
