You can take a look at the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament bracket here to see how both teams got to this point. Upsets and thrillers typical of March Madness have already unfolded in New York this week, and the stakes will be amplified Saturday night.

Georgetown is one win away from its first NCAA Tournament bid in Patrick Ewings’ four seasons as coach. The Hoyas haven’t been in a conference final since 2010, and their run this week in New York has been perhaps the highlight of Ewings’ tenure.

After beginning the tournament with a win over Marquette, Georgetown stunned top-ranked Villanova in a 72-71 nail-biter on Thursday. The Hoyas beat No. 5-seed Seton Hall by eight in the semifinals to advance to the championship round, where they’ll meet a stiffer test.

Creighton is ranked 17th in the country and is not dealing with the same type of injuries woes as Villanova. For Georgetown to get back to the big dance, it’ll need to pull off one more upset.
