Investigative series 'Disrupt & Dismantle' tackles racial injustice | How to watch, live stream, TV ...

As a part of BET’s social impact initiative, “Content for Change,” Disrupt & Dismantle premieres on BET tonight, Feb. 21, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, after BET and CBS News Present: Boiling Point at 8 p.m. ET/PT. You can also watch the show on FuboTV, Philo and Sling.

Disrupt & Dismantle is an investigative documentary series featuring award-winning journalist, speaker, author and philanthropist Soledad O’Brien. She tackles injustices across the nation affecting the Black community, from police brutality to redlining to education to incarceration to infant mortality, all fueled by systemic racism.

The first episode starts with environmental racism as O’Brien travels to Dallas, Texas, where she meets a grandmother who’s fighting to get a mountain of toxic shingles removed from the lot behind her house. In Texas’ “Southern Sector,” redlining and other discriminatory zoning have segregated minority groups and negligently subjected them to poisoning from heavy industry.
