Fans Compare Avni Yildirim to Punching Bag After DAZN Releases Canelo Alvarez Training Video

Canelo Alvarez is just a few days away from defending his 168-pound titles against the Turkish boxer, Avni Yildirim. Irrespective of the opponent, Saul Alvarez works extremely hard before every fight. Even after being a solid favorite in his upcoming fight, Alvarez is leaving no stones unturned in his training.

Recently, DAZN released a workout video from Alvarez’s training camp. Therein, he’s seen working on his movements and punches. This video caught everyone’s eye, as Alvarez displayed a snippet of his prowess.

Moreover, a huge chunk of the fans felt that on February 27, Yildirim will be the punching bag and the Mexican boxer will dispatch him hassle-free.

A fan wrote, ”They are showing the Yildirim fight already.”

Another fan wrote, “he’s rehearsing the play.”

Akin to these, this video garnered several reactions from boxing fans surrounding the globe. All of them shared a common notion that Yildirim is not up to the mark for Alvarez. And it’ll be an easy title defense for the unified super-middleweight king.

Avni Yildirim, who will step inside the squared circle after a 2-year hiatus, suffered a defeat in his last outing against Anthony Dirrell. Despite that, Yildirim acknowledges Canelo Alvarez as the biggest opponent of his life. Hence, he’s keen on giving his best performance against the veteran.

Can Avni Yildirim upset Canelo Alvarez?

Canelo Alvarez is undoubtedly the toughest opponent of Yildirim’s career. Staying out of action for a long time has definitely hampered the latter’s professional run. But, the 29-year-old has also had the time to polish up his skill sets and bring in a major revamp to his game plans.

On the flip side, Canelo will look forward to annihilating Yildirim as he has mighty plans to fight for the undisputed super middleweight title.

It will be enticing to see the tussle between the two. Furthermore, if Yildirim defeats Alvarez, it’ll go down as the biggest upsets in the modern boxing era.
