After an early four-game losing streak, the George Washington Colonials have won two of their past three games. They'll try to keep the momentum rolling on Wednesday night against UMass, a team that has lost two straight and hasn't played since Dec. 30.

UMass has been the more efficient team this season, according to KenPom, but George Washington has played better of late. It all sets up for a great A10 matchup.

GEORGE WASHINGTON vs. UMASS WHAT TO WATCH

- Revenge game? George Washington blew the doors off UMass on the road in their only meeting last season, coming away with a 75-51 victory nearly a year ago to the day. UMass is the better team in 2021, so the Colonials will have a tougher task of repeating their blowout win.

- Get ready for a high-scoring affair, as three of the A10's four leading scorers will be on the court Wednesday night. The Colonials have two of those players, but are only fifth in the conference as a team in points per game, while UMass leads the conference with 86.8 points per game.

GEORGE WASHINGTON vs. UMASS PLAYERS TO WATCH

UMass: Tre Mitchell (So.), C (22.6 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 1.6 bpg). Mitchell is the only A10 player scoring more than 20 points per game, and he's all the way up at 22.6. He's scored double-digit points in every game, but has still been very up and down -- his point totals through five games are 31, 10, 37, 12 and 23. George Washington will have to hope this is one of the big man's down nights.

George Washington: James Bishop (So.), G (19.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 6.1 apg). Bishop is the second-highest scorer in the A10 so far, with an impressive 19.7 himself. He has been much more consistent in his outputs, scoring between 14 and 23 points in every game this season, including eight of 10 games going over 20.
