His wife Manda Huber revealed that he died “surrounded by love ones” on her Instagram post about her late husband.

“I never wanted to write out those words. My heart is broken,” she wrote. “The world saw him as the amazing @brodielee (fka Luke Harper) but he was my best friend, my husband, and the greatest father you would ever meet. No words can express the love I feel or how broken I am right now. He passed surrounded by love ones after a hard fought battle with a non Covid related lung issue.”

Jon Huber first broke into the public conscience after portraying the character of Luke Harper in the WWE. He was part of the Wyatt Family and won the Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles in the promotion. He later moved to AEW where he portrayed the role of Brodie Lee, the leader of Dark Order and also won the TNT title once.
