"I admired the true Barca, the one of Xavi, Iniesta and Dani Alves"

Roberto de Zerbi has Sassuolo on everyone's lips. The Italian side, who are 2nd in Serie A only behind AC Milan, have started the season fantastically in Italy, after winning 5 and drawing 3 in 8 matches, which makes them the only unbeaten side alongside Stefano Pioli's men.

In words collected by 'DAZN', the Italian manager spoke about Pep's Barca, which was a great example for him. "I admired the true Barcelona, the one of Xavi, Iniesta and Dani Alves. When I saw them, I enjoyed it".

"In Romania, at Cluj, when I played between 2009 and 2012, I changed my perspective, there were players from all over the world with an idea of football totally different from the Italian one, in the training methodology and in the tactics", he added.

Until now, De Zerbi has demonstrated to be a magnificent manager for Sassuolo, who racked up their 5th win in the domestic championship after winning 0-2 on their visit to Hellas Verona.
