What time is the NFL game tonight? TV schedule, channels for Giants vs. Eagles in Week 7

The start time for "Thursday Night Football" between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles is the usual kickoff time for Thursday night games throughout the 2020 NFL season.

That means that at 8:20 p.m. ET on NFL Network and Fox from Lincoln Financial Field, you'll be able to watch Carson Wentz lead an injury-ravaged Eagles team against Daniel Jones and the Giants. Both teams somehow have a chance in the NFC East despite each entering Thursday night with just one win on the year.

Wentz will likely be without his top two tight ends, Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert, along with starting running back Miles Sanders. He's benefited from the surprising WR emergence of Travis Fulgham, who will get a chance to show the country what he can do in prime time.

The Giants have gotten healthy since injuries hurt them early in the year, although they remain without Saquon Barkley, who is out for the season. Jones will have basically his full complement of receivers, though, with Darius Slayton and tight end Evan Engram leading the way.

Below is everything to know about the TV schedule for Thursday night's game at Lincoln Financial Field, plus a look at the rest of Week 7.

What time is the NFL game tonight?

  • Game: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
  • Date: Thursday, Oct. 22
  • Kickoff time: 8:20 p.m. ET

All Thursday night games throughout the 2020 NFL season will start at 8:20 p.m. ET, though the TV viewing options (more on those below) expanded starting in Week 5.

The Eagles already have a prime-time win this season, beating San Francisco in surprising fashion during Week 4's Sunday Night Football. The Giants opened the season in prime time on Monday night against the Steelers but couldn't come away from that game with a win.

Philadelphia better get used to playing at night, because it'll do so again in Week 8, when the Cowboys and Eagles face off in a battle for NFC East supremacy on Sunday Night Football.

What channel is Giants vs. Eagles on today?

After no game on Thursday in Week 6, "Thursday Night Football" is back with its simulcast on Fox and NFL Network. The two channels will show the same game feed, with Joe Buck on play-by-play duty and Troy Aikman serving as his color commentator.

The Thursday night games are also now available on Amazon Prime Video, with the stream coming at no additional cost to Prime subscribers.

NFL Network is available via most cable providers in the United States. It also is available via satellite provider DirecTV (channels 212 and 1212) and IPTV providers Verizon FiOS (channels 88 and 588) and Google Fiber (channel 2019). Fox should be available in the high majority of homes in the United States as a cable network channel

NFL live stream for Giants vs. Eagles

Beginning in Week 5, the Thursday night games had expanded streaming options, with Fox Sports Go and Amazon Prime Video both joining the fray. If you're able to watch your local fox channel on TV, you'll also be able to use Fox Sports Go to stream the game.

Below are all of the live streaming options for "Thursday Night Football" in 2020.

NFL Week 7 schedule

Week 7 doesn't exactly have the strongest slate of prime-time games. Having Lamar Jackson on bye doesn't help the cause. After Giants-Eagles, you'll be able to watch Buccaneers-Raiders on Sunday night and Rams-Bears on Monday night.

The bigger games come during the afternoon windows on Sunday. The Steelers and Titans face off in a battle of 5-0 teams, while the 49ers and Patriots matchup in a meeting of two multi-time Super Bowl champions.
