Washington vs. Cardinals live stream: TV info and how to watch NFL Week 2

The Arizona Cardinals host the Washington Football Team in NFL Week 2 at State Farm Stadium.

Most people likely would’ve predicted that the NFL Week 2 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Football Team would be two clubs looking for their first wins of the 2020 season. But after upset victories to open the year, it’s now a meeting featuring two 1-0 teams who are looking to build off of impressive starts.

The Cardinals had a big offseason as they traded for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to give young quarterback Kyler Murray a true No. 1 target. That worked out well in an upset win over San Francisco last week as the offense was rolling. What may have been more surprising was that a suspect defense largely held the reigning NFC champs in check, which bodes well for the Cards as they move forward.

Washington found themselves down early against rival Philadelphia last week but enter NFL Week 2 with a win to their credit thanks to a late-game surge from their defense, including rookie stud Chase Young, and a great showing by second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins. New head coach Ron Rivera has clearly instilled fight in the Football Team and they’d love to see more of that on the road.

Though it may be shocking that both the Cardinals and Washington enter this NFL Week 2 game at 1-0, that only means that each team has something to prove. Namely, they’ll be looking to show that their season-opening victories weren’t flukes.

With Murray, Hopkins and a loaded offense, Arizona was expected to have a breakout 2020 season. But could the Football Team be a more competitive group than anyone imagined this season? Going out to the desert on Sunday and challenging the Redbirds would be a good way for Rivera’s team to prove exactly that.
