FOX SPORTS will deliver LIVE coverage of the entire tournament from the opening day through to the men’s and women’s singles finals, across two channels with a dedicated channel on FOX SPORTS 505.
Originally scheduled for May/June, Roland-Garros 2020 is now the year’s second major tournament for the year directly following the 2020 US Open.
The world’s most famous clay tournament in its 124th edition will take place at the Stade Roland-Garros in Paris, France from Sunday, September 27 to Sunday, October 11 and will feature some of the world’s best tennis players vying for the trophy.
FOX SPORTS’ daily coverage begins Sunday, September 27 at 6.50pm AEST on FOX SPORTS 505 and FOX SPORTS 503.
The ‘king of clay’ and record twelve time champion Rafael Nadal will return as the favourite to defend his title, facing a strong field of competitors including Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem, Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev.
Australia’s heroin Ashleigh Barty was the defending champion in the women’s event but has chosen not to defend her title due to COVID-19, leaving a new champion to be crowned this year with the likes of Karolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin and past Roland-Garros champions Serena Williams and Simona Halep vying for the title.
Carrying the local hopes for the men’s draw is Australia’s young gun Alex De Minaur who achieved a career record in the US Open this month qualifying for his first grand slam quarter-final. Alongside De Minaur will be John Millman and Jordan Thompson, with Ajla Tomljanovic flying the flag for the women.
The only place to see full LIVE coverage of Roland-Garros 2020 in on FOX SPORTS.
