Collier County Schools: No fans during fall sports

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — Big changes are coming to fall sports for Collier County Public Schools.

In a special board work session on Thursday, CCPS announced they won't allow fans to watch fall sports in person.

Fans will be able to watch football and volleyball games in real-time on a live stream.

Other safety precautions will also be put into place.

All Coaches, training staff, and athletes who are not participating must wear masks.

They must also stay 6 feet away from each other so that means no huddling.

The Collier County Department of Health says only essential personnel should be permitted at practices and competitions.
